Message From the Senior Pastor
Restoration Church Of Steubenville
Who Are We?
What Do We Do?
Where Are We?
We are a Christian Church filled with ordinary people whose lives have been changed by extraordinary grace. Each one of us has a story of redemption, mercy, forgiveness, and love. We used to be the little, the lost, the lonely, and the left-out – but now we are part of the family of God, trusting in Him and helping each other the best we can. We would love to share with you the same love and fellowship that we have discovered in serving Jesus Christ together.
We have no fancy programs or sophisticated strategies. We simply love the Lord, love His wonderful Word, and love sharing those experiences with one another. We sing together, pray together, fellowship together, grow together, laugh together, cry together, forgive each other, and serve each other – and we do it all by the grace of God.
We are really delighted by the fact that our facility is on top of a hill. Our desire is to be what Jesus spoke of in Matthew 5:14: “You are the light of the world – like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.” The LIGHT IS ON in our house – and we would love to see you come in and stay for a while!
Ministry Journey of Pastor Tony and Sister Linda Nicosia
Pastor Tony and his family have been attending Restoration Church for almost 20 years. He has raised four sons, whom he adopted at an early age, and all of whom are serving the Lord, Restoration Church, and their community.
After the personal hardship of losing his first wife to cancer, the Lord worked a divine miracle and allowed Pastor Tony and Sister Linda Hohenshil to fall in love. They have been married since June 11, 2016.
Pastor Tony gave his heart to the Lord in 1973, at the age of seven, under Pastor Gary Lilly’s ministry on Estelle Ave. in Steubenville, OH. Over the years, he has served the Lord in numerous capacities, including Sunday School teacher, youth pastor, Christian education director, drummer in praise bands, deacon, and elder in Santa Rosa, CA, Weirton, WV, and most recently Steubenville, OH.
Sister Linda chose to truly give her life to the Lord in 1988 while living in Blacksburg, VA. Her mother, Barbara, was very instrumental in Linda’s choice for Christ as Linda witnessed the tremendous importance prayer and Bible study had on her. Linda has been an active church member since her conversion and has taught both Sunday School and in schools in Virginia, West Virginia, and Ohio. She has participated in many youth functions and enjoys playing the piano in a variety of church settings.
